"My secret: I love chocolate. I just don't love to share it. Many times I have escaped to a quiet, private spot so I can enjoy my chocolate without anyone asking for a bite. One time, I was hiding in the coat closet at my office, savoring a rich & dark chocolate bar when a co-worker walked in on me. Scandalous!"

"During finals week, I was up late one night and desperate for a sugar fix. I ran to the corner grocery and reached for the last king size bar at the same time as the most beautiful brunette I'd ever seen. I didn't know what I wanted more, the dark chocolate bar or the dark brunette babe. After laughing and arguing over the bar, we decided to split it and we studied together the rest of the night. We've been together for 16 years now, and we still use a bar of chocolate as part of every gift to each other or as a spontaneous surprise and show of love."

"One afternoon I was sharing some absolutly divine chocolate with my 3 year old granddaughter she looked up at me with a look of pure delight and her big chocolate brown eyes and exclaimed "Oh grandma, chocolate loves me!" AHHHHh indeed it does."

"June $50 Winner!
Hi, my name is Nancy and I am traveler to Seattle who recently had the good fortune to come upon The Chocolate Box as I was shopping this great city. I was so excited about my new discovery that when my son and husband arrived that evening I had to take them back for dessert after dinner so that I could share with them all the delights I had seen (tasted) and awaited them. What I love about this place is that it satisfies all of our needs: gelato (ask for the special sauce), pastries(so many to go back for), coffee drinks and of course the best selection of chocolates to be found (and I love that it's not just a few). Last but certainly not least is the service. The staff here is very friendly and what the entire country needs to learn is that no matter what product you are selling and how good it is, you are always selling service to create a repeat customer. My son will be a UW freshman in the fall so our family will be repeat customers for sure. Kudos to all of you at The Chocolate Box!"

"July's $50 winner
I absolutely love chocolate so I was so excited to find out that I was selected as the winner of the July monthly drawing! I first discovered the Chocolate Box when a co-worker recommended the Tour de Chocolate. The tour was amazing and I learned so much about the treat that I love! Since then I have found that the Chocolate Box is a great place to stop by to satisfy any craving - what an amazing selection! - or find the perfect gift for friends, family and clients. Thank you Chocolate Box! - Nancy H."

"Gelato Festival Winner How great to win a prize for just doing something I enjoy anyway. I enjoy gelato, I enjoy chocolate – put those two items together and it seems like the Chocolate Box has caught on to something. And thanks to the Il Fornaio drawing, I even get a date night with my husband. I work just a few blocks away and have come to find that the Chocolate box is a great place for an afternoon break with co-workers and a great place to grab snacks for my office – (quick shout out to cup-cake happy hour – my department loves the mini-cup cakes!) When I received the email that the Chocolate Box was participating in the Gelato Festival I immediately forwarded it on to my co-workers to set up mandatory gelato breaks. I was especially excited for chocolate chili, but in the end my favorite was chocolate macaroon. Thanks to the Chocolate Box for meeting the demands of my cravings and here’s to more gelato festivals in the future – I’m in! ~Amy M."
